Lakeshore Habitat for Humanity
Since 1990, Lakeshore Habitat has been building strength, stability, and independence through affordable housing.
While the need for affordable housing grows, Lakeshore Habitat has continued to increase its capacity to build and repair homes, partnering with families and individuals in our community who are working hard to achieve their dreams of affordable homeownership.
We're Investing In...
People
We've served 668 people - including 436 children - through homeownership.
Community
Volunteers are crucial to our mission, contributing an average of 8,805 hours in one year.
Globally
We tithe each unrestricted donation to building houses in Nicaragua, where Nicaraguans have built 60 homes with our gifts alone.
The Environment
Through the ReStore, thousands of tons of reusable materials have been diverted from landfills through merchandise sales and recycling.
To date, Lakeshore Habitat for Humanity has built
165
homes throughout Ottawa and parts of Allegan counties.
