OUR PROGRAMS
Home Repair
Program
Affordable home repairs in parts of Ottawa, Allegan, and Van Buren counties.
Lakeshore Habitat for Humanity's mission includes assisting low-income homeowners with home repairs.
Home repairs are an important part of homeownership. Our program provides a variety of funding for qualified applicants including grants, loans, and assistance through various partner organizations. Depending on which grants are available, these sorts of projects can range from minor door repair to significant system repair (roofs, insulation, furnaces etc.). These options make the cost of doing repairs through Lakeshore Habitat generally more affordable than through other contracted labor. Projects are considered as funding sources become available.

Projects must meet the following criteria:
-
Home must be owner-occupied.
-
Home must be a house. (We can refer mobile home repairs through approved contractors/partners.)
-
Wheelchair ramps qualify.
-
We offer roofing or roof repair through approved contractors/partners.
